State software overhaul and optimization of operational processes and user experience for tax officers.
Centralized state platform operated by the French tax administration (DGFiP) to register, track and manage all life insurance contracts held in France, ensuring legal compliance and transparency.
Problem
The software, developed in 20016, has a non-ergonomic interface and a complex business process that does not follow the DSFR (French government’s design system standards). It’s used by multiple departments, like accounting and land registration and features were added over time without a coherent vision, resulting in a fragmented tool with inconsistent workflows.
Solution
Redesign the tool from a user-centered perspective, standardize the processes across all departments, and realign the interface with DSFR guidelines to ensure coherence and usability.
